『もう一度君に、プロポーズ』directly translated as “I’ll propose to you one more time”, is about a regular married couple whose lives take a turn after the wife loses memory of her husband and the 5 years with him after a brain op, when she suffered from a subarachnoid hemorrhage. Starring Takenouchi Yutaka as Haru and Wakui Emi as … Continue reading
I love this song. Somehow it “sings” to me and increases my tension, I don’t know how to describe it further. No surprise that I have been watching Sakurai Sho-san’s 櫻井翔 “Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de” 『謎解きはディナーの後で』faithfully each week thanks to fellow fans. Probably cannot be helped coz of all Arashi 嵐 members, I’m … Continue reading
Started watching 「全開ガール」”Zenkai Girl” now that I have finished 「華和家の四姉妹」”Hanawake no Yon Shimai” and am really enjoying it. Maybe coz it has more of a romantic comedy plot compared to “Hanawake” and also partly coz the kids are cute. Seriously cute.
Finally managed to finish another two shows, 『僕だけのマドンナ』Boku Dake no Madonna (with 滝沢秀明 Takizawa Hideake and 長谷川京子 Hasegawa Kyoko) and 『恋空』 Koizora the Movie version (with 三浦春馬 Miura Haruma and 新垣結衣 Aragaki Yui). Yeah… an achievement considering I’ve been having a handful in the last few weeks, both at work and at Japanese class.

Just completed another J-dorama and I must say the suspense of this show was even more intriguing than Ryuusei no Kizuna 流星の絆. Maybe it’s something to do with the plot, supernatural powers, or maybe it’s just something to do with having the 2 Johnny’s on the show, Tackey, a.k.a 滝沢秀明 Takizawa Hideaki and Ryo-chan a.k.a … Continue reading
Just finished watching Ryuusei No Kizuna last night, and was totally stunned by the ending!
I just finished watching 流れ星 and just totally fell in love with the plot and the theme song, 流星 (Ryuusei) by コルブロ (Koruburo).
Just finished watching 獣医ドリトル (Veterinarian Dolittle) and probably spent the last few hours crying over the anxious parts of each of the last four or five episodes episodes. I think the one that started my tears was in episode 5 (I think) where Tottori-sensei was not able to save a stray.
